Community Outreach & Engagement Volunteer

Location : Hybrid (Remote + occasional in-person events)

Commitment : 5-10 hours / month

Description :

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and community-minded individual to help us build strong local relationships and increase awareness of our programs. As a Community Outreach & Engagement Volunteer , you will represent Projects 2 Passports in the community, help foster partnerships, and engage potential supporters, families, and organizations.

Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain relationships with local schools, cultural organizations, and community groups
• Represent Projects 2 Passports at local events, expos, school functions, and community fairs
• Assist with the planning and execution of outreach strategies to recruit participants, volunteers, and sponsors
• Support the distribution of promotional materials and information both in-person and online
• Engage with the public through tabling, community presentations, and email outreach
• Help organize and support info sessions, interest meetings, and P2P-hosted events
• Collect and share feedback from community interactions to help shape future outreach efforts

Ideal for : College students pursuing education, communication, international studies, or nonprofit leadership, community members and professionals passionate about equity and youth development, or aspiring nonprofit professionals seeking hands-on experience in outreach and engagement.
