Summary of Role / Objective :
Lansing’s HR Systems Analyst plays a key role in the administration, optimization, and support of our Human Capital Management (HCM) system—currently Ceridian Dayforce. This role leads system enhancement projects, ensures data integrity, and delivers actionable insights through reporting and analytics. The analyst also contributes to the continuous improvement of HR processes and tools to drive efficiency, data accuracy, and superior associate experience.
Essential Functions :
Dayforce System Administration & Optimization
- Administer and maintain Dayforce, including user access, security roles, and configuration updates
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements aligned with business needs
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
- Manage integrations, external file feeds, and vendor / carrier connections
- Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to deliver scalable system solutions
- Ensure vendor accountability and service excellence
Reporting / Data Analytics
Design, build, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data extractsAnalyze workforce data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvementLead monthly and quarterly HR reportingProvide reporting support and guidance to HR, Payroll, and other business unitsValidate report outputs for accuracy and completenessContinuously enhance reporting capabilities to meet evolving business needsContinuous Improvement & Special Projects
