Summary of Role / Objective :

Lansing’s HR Systems Analyst plays a key role in the administration, optimization, and support of our Human Capital Management (HCM) system—currently Ceridian Dayforce. This role leads system enhancement projects, ensures data integrity, and delivers actionable insights through reporting and analytics. The analyst also contributes to the continuous improvement of HR processes and tools to drive efficiency, data accuracy, and superior associate experience.

Essential Functions :

Dayforce System Administration & Optimization

  • Administer and maintain Dayforce, including user access, security roles, and configuration updates
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements aligned with business needs
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
  • Manage integrations, external file feeds, and vendor / carrier connections
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to deliver scalable system solutions
  • Ensure vendor accountability and service excellence

Reporting / Data Analytics

  • Design, build, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead monthly and quarterly HR reporting
  • Provide reporting support and guidance to HR, Payroll, and other business units
  • Validate report outputs for accuracy and completeness
  • Continuously enhance reporting capabilities to meet evolving business needs

    • Continuous Improvement & Special Projects

  • Stay current on HCM system trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Support HR process improvement initiatives and automation efforts
  • Lead or contribute to special projects as assigned

    Qualifications :

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and / or Access

    • Required Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in system administration / data generation and analysis
  • Ceridian Dayforce administration experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience with process flow optimization
  • Experience with data file transfers and imports
  • Project management experience preferred
