Education And Training Administrator
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Chief, Education and Training Office in administering the education and training programs, provide technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within unit organizations on all aspects of the program.
This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. Individuals selected for ART positions must meet both civilian qualifications and uniformed military requirements.
Duties include :
- Assisting the Chief, Education and Training in administration of Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs.
- Managing the overall management of the on-the-job training (OJT) program for the wing.
- Conducting Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) and identifying root cause of deficiencies and recommending corrective actions for process improvements.
- Managing the development of education and training instructional products.
- Planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating operations of the Advance Distributed Learning, and multimedia education and training programs.
- Monitoring the overall accuracy and reliability of all data entered into and maintained in Personnel Data System (PDS).
- Administering a diversified testing program.
Qualifications include :
At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems.Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.Other significant facts pertaining to this position are :
This position requires the incumbent to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements standards.The incumbent may be required to fly in military and / or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments (TDY).This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
