Education And Training Administrator

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Chief, Education and Training Office in administering the education and training programs, provide technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within unit organizations on all aspects of the program.

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. Individuals selected for ART positions must meet both civilian qualifications and uniformed military requirements.

Duties include :

• Assisting the Chief, Education and Training in administration of Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs.
• Managing the overall management of the on-the-job training (OJT) program for the wing.
• Conducting Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) and identifying root cause of deficiencies and recommending corrective actions for process improvements.
• Managing the development of education and training instructional products.
• Planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating operations of the Advance Distributed Learning, and multimedia education and training programs.
• Monitoring the overall accuracy and reliability of all data entered into and maintained in Personnel Data System (PDS).
• Administering a diversified testing program.
