Join Our Team as an Early Nursing Intervention RN
Beebe Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Early Nursing Intervention Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional, patient-centered care across all hospital units. This dynamic role is ideal for an experienced nurse who excels in early assessment, rapid response, and specialized intervention to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Mentor and Support Nursing Staff : Provide real-time guidance to bedside teams, with a focus on coaching less experienced nurses to build confidence and clinical skills.
Critical Test Result Assessment : Review and assess all critical lab and imaging results, ensuring prompt communication and intervention for patients with significant findings.
Sepsis Screening & Education : Evaluate all positive sepsis screens, initiate timely interventions, and deliver sepsis education and mentoring to nursing staff to improve patient outcomes.
Post-ICU Transition Rounding : Round on all patients transferring out of the ICU for at least the first 24 hours to monitor stability and prevent complications.
Surgical Patient Monitoring : Conduct early rounds on all surgical patients within the first 12 hours to identify post-operative concerns and coordinate care.
Emergency Response : Attend all code blues and rapid response activations, providing expert clinical assessment and lifesaving interventions.
Vascular Access Resource : Serve as an on-site vascular access specialist, assisting with IV placement and troubleshooting access challenges hospital-wide.
Qualifications
Strong background in assessment and critical thinking skills
Minimum of 2 years critical care experience
Competencies and comfort level for working with patients on all units.
Capacity to work independently.
Ability to collaborate with professional staff.
Ability to prioritize multiple job requests.
Assertive with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of departmental and hospital policies relevant to the delivery of nursing care.
Frequent interactive and consultative associations are inherent in this position.
Desire to share knowledge and educate other staff members.
