Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience operating GE CT scanners and current ARRT and BLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Position is in an acute care, Level 1 trauma hospital

Work performed in CT department with 3 CT machines

Utilizes GE CT scanners, Sectra PACS, and EPIC EMR

Day shifts every weekend, Friday to Sunday, 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with the possibility of holiday coverage

No floating to other units or departments

Perform CT scans in the emergency department and main hospital

Assist with morning chest x-rays in the ICU during overnight hours as needed

Team of technologists provides a supportive work environment

Training and orientation provided for 1–2 weeks

Dark gray scrubs required

Candidates with previous employment at the hospital must have an end date at least 6 months before consideration

Candidates residing within 80 miles are eligible as local candidates and may be subject to a pay adjustment

Minimum 2 years of CT experience required

ARRT (R) certification required; (CT) certification preferred

Current BLS certification required

Hands-on experience operating GE CT scanners required

Experience charting in EPIC preferred

License required if applicable
