Controls Engineer

Shift : B Crew, 5 : 30pm-4 : 00am Tuesday-Friday

Exempt straight time OT after 45 hrs worked!

What You Will Need

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Programming, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of Just-in-Time (JIT), Sequential Part Delivery (SPD), In-Line Vehicle Sequencing (ILVS), and Batch manufacturing systems
• Hands-on experience with maintaining and supporting robots in production
• Proficiency in PLC programming (2–4 years) with Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5000 processors
• HMI programming experience (2–4 years) with FactoryTalk View Studio and PanelView Plus
• Vision systems programming experience (2–4 years) using Cognex and Keyence platforms
• Working knowledge of :
• Manual and automated assembly systems and control technologies
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• AutoCAD, Studio 5000 Logix Designer, FactoryTalk View Studio
• Familiarity with industrial networking (TCP / IP, Ethernet / IP)
• Ability to mentor and support maintenance technicians in developing their controls skills
• A continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, OEE, TPM, Visual Factory, Kanban)
