We are currently hiring a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment throughout our facility.

Position: Housekeeper/Laundry Aide
Location: Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

Shifts:

• HSKP hours are 8a-4p
• Laundry are 6a-12p and 2p-7p

What You’ll Do:

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to facility standards.

• Dust, mop, vacuum, disinfect surfaces, and empty trash regularly.

• Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

• Report maintenance issues, lost items, or safety concerns promptly.

• Interact courteously with residents, families, and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus, but not required—willing to train the right person!

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and use cleaning supplies safely.

• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents and coworkers.

• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent related work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfortable using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning supplies and occasional biohazards.
