The Department of Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College is seeking fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists at all ranks to join our team of six dedicated pediatric anesthesia faculty. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, academically focused environment within the Capital Region s only academic medical center.

About the Role

Pediatric anesthesiologists at Albany Medical College provide perioperative care for a wide range of surgical specialties, including :

• General pediatric surgery
• Orthopedics
• ENT
• Urology
• Plastic and reconstructive surgery
• Select neonatal and complex congenital cases

Our practice includes both healthy children and medically complex patients, with opportunities to participate in anesthesia care for pediatric patients outside of the main operating room (e.g., MRI, interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization).

Qualifications

Competitive base salary range of $391,000-$428,000 commensurate with rank. Compensation of ~$25,000 for pediatric pager call plus additional pay if called in. Generous sign on bonus of $45,000 and relocation of $7,500. Multiple overtime opportunities are available for additional compensation.
