Facility Setting : Telemetry Unit (3rd Floor, Building 4)

Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) contract

Start Date : December 22, 2025

End Date : March 23, 2026

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Weekly Hours : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470–$1570

Unit Size : 37 beds

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 (general), 1 : 4 (Heart Cath patients)

Modern Equipment : PCA pumps, IV pumps, chest tubes

EMR System : Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state)

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing or acute care experience

Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Travel RN Responsibilities – Telemetry Unit

Deliver direct patient care and continuous cardiac monitoring in a busy Telemetry unit

Manage and monitor central lines, medication drips, and heart catheterization recovery

Perform bubble studies and assist with chest tube management

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Unit Clerks

Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR

Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality nursing care
