Summary
The Senior Project Engineer, reporting to the Owner's Project Manager, will serve as the owner's front-line technical contact for the design and construction of a greenfield gold heap leach mine in Northern Nevada. The Sr. Project Engineer will support the oversight and coordination of all engineering deliverables for the South Railroad Project. Working closely with the EPCM contractor and subject matter experts, the Project Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and validating engineering outputs to ensure technical quality, compliance with project requirements, and alignment with execution strategies.
The successful candidate will be the resident Owner's Team representative in the EPCM contractor's offices through the design and procurement phases of the project and will then be a site-based role supporting construction during the execution phase. The role requires deep technical oversight, onsite construction monitoring, and ensuring full compliance with MSHA and Environmental regulations for all plant facilities.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel approximately 60% of the time. This role will begin working upon hire in Phoenix, Arizona, on a rotation agreed upon hire, preferably 2 weeks in office, one week remote, 40 hours per week. Upon substantial engineering completion, the role will transition to the South Railroad site near Elko, Nevada and remain based there until project completion on a 50 hour per week basis.
