Position Title : Workers’ Compensation Attorney

Location : Financial District, New York, NY

Major Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation law firm located in New York City’s Financial District is seeking a skilled Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our growing practice. Our firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation and client service, and we are looking for an attorney who can contribute expertise, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities :

Represent clients in all phases of Workers’ Compensation cases, including hearings, trials, depositions, and appeals.
Manage a full caseload of claims from inception through resolution.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Provide counsel and guidance to clients regarding Workers’ Compensation matters, ensuring clear communication and updates.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
Collaborate with firm partners and associates on complex litigation and strategy development.
Maintain compliance with all court deadlines and case management requirements.

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Admitted to practice law in the State of New York (in good standing).

Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation law (more experienced attorneys are encouraged to apply).

Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Excellent writing, research, and organizational abilities.

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

Client-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
