The Role
The Alternate Investment Team, within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT), is seeking a Full Stack
Developer to join the team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to enable
Alternate Investment business. We are looking for a person who has hands-on software engineering
experience building cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures
(Containers and Serverless). Monitors and maintains the operational stability of services within the
Cloud. Able to navigate and mange technical complexities while developing secure and scalable
solutions for our customers.

The Alternate Investment development team at Fidelity designs, builds, and supports an Alternate
Investment solution. This team is an innovative, diverse, and hardworking group, who use an Agile
approach and principles to deliver.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Engineering Expertise :
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ Years Related Technology Experience, financial industry experience a plus.
Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle using Java / J2EE
technologies, responsive and performant web applications using the Angular framework,
DevOps, and Continuous Integration / Continuous Development.
Proficient in working with Oracle, creating & leading database objects like tables, views,
indexes, Stored Procs and optimizing database performance through query tuning, indexing,
analyzing performance reports.
Proficient with designing and developing RESTful services using Java / J2EE, Spring Boot,
Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON.
Proficient with designing and developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web
component using Angular framework and bootstrap.
Experience with Application development and integrating terraform with Continuous
Integration / Deployment (CI / CD) tools Jenkins for automated deployments.
Experience with source code and project administration tools such as GIT, JIRA.
Experience with AWS EKS, Lambda, S3 and overall AWS based application development /
deployment.
Experience with designing, implementing and managing infrastructure using Terracore and
Terraform.
Knowledge of batch job scheduling and dependency management using BMC Control-M for
distributed systems.
Knowledge of Selenium, Karate, JEST, Cucumber Serenity for test automation.
Agile environment work experience. Collaborate with Agile team members to build
comprehensive and cohesive solution approaches. Support project and release planning.
Proven ability to work in a high paced, dynamic, and culturally diverse environment.
An aptitude for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. Experience
with building and maintaining unit tests and mock services using Jest, JUnit, Mockito unit
testing framework.
Demonstrated expertise with critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology / tools.
Strong data driven problem-solving abilities. Collaborate with cross squads to define, design,
and ship high-quality software solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to optimally convey technical concepts.
