ED Tech and CNA support

Patient Age Group- Birth to Death

Floating-required

Medication System- Pyxis, Accudose, Omnicell

Documentation System- Meditech Expanse

Communication Style- SBAR

Unit info ages, birth to death. Primarily adults with occasional pediatric (there is a nearby Level 1 Pedi trauma center). Emergency Department includes a locked behavioral health unit that can hold a census of 12.

Required Certification : ACLS, BCLS, CPI BLUE waived), PALS, CONSCIOUS SEDATION, IV START, TELEMETRY, TRIAGE, VENTS.

Preferred Certifications : ENPC, SANE(Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner), CHARGE NURSE EXPERIENCE, LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE.

Experience- 2 years of level 1 trauma experience.
