Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit.

The shift is three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Patient ratios are 1 : 4 during all shifts, including weekends every other weekend if needed.

This position does not require on-call duty.

The traveler may need to float between like units based on facility needs.

Experience with a patient ratio of 1 : 4 is essential for this role.

Candidates should have experience working with telemetry monitored patients.

Registered Nurses will care for adult and geriatric patients.

Special patient populations include those with cardiac issues, neuro conditions, GI bleeds, and surgical patients.

Nursing skills such as accessing ports, administering blood products, and managing ventilation are required.

Candidates must be familiar with standard nursing protocols and equipment used in the Progressive Care Unit.

Candidates should be prepared to work on emergency response teams if assigned.

All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application.

There is a possibility to accommodate block scheduling based on managerial approval.
