Title : Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry Director

Classification : Full-Time

Reports To : Chief Operating Officer

Bring your skills to JFS ensure that more than 15,000 people each year receive the food they need. JFS is a leader in providing consistent food support. The FPD oversees safe, effective and efficient food pantry operations and builds community relationships to ensure the sufficient procurement of food. The program generates over $1M in revenue annually, reaching individuals and families throughout the St. Louis region.

Your ability to lead, manage and motivate a diverse team of staff and volunteers will be key to providing this needed community service. This role will recruit, hire and train food pantry staff and volunteers, ensuring adequate program coverage; oversee day-to-day pantry activities; reviews, updates and maintain food pantry protocols and standards; aligning with federal and state policies and regulations; tracks metrics reflecting program effectiveness; and represents JFS and the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry throughout the community.

Salary range :

$65,000-$95,000. Competitive benefit package

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in business or nonprofit management, Master's Degree preferred or equivalent education / experience

Five years in program management

Knowledge of food pantry industry and best practice standards
