We are seeking a Principal Data Analyst to lead enterprise-level data operations, analytics governance, and performance measurement initiatives.
In this senior position, you will provide both strategic direction and hands-on expertise across the full data lifecycle—transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions, operational excellence, and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities Lead Data Operations :
- Oversee data aggregation, transformation, and validation workflows to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Performance Measurement :
Own the design, calculation, and validation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality measures across multiple domains.Analytical Frameworks :
Develop reproducible data models, automated reporting pipelines, and standardized calculation templates using SQL, Python, and modern data platforms.Data Governance :
Define and enforce validation checkpoints, version control, and audit-ready documentation to uphold data integrity.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner with business, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver high-impact insights and resolve data discrepancies.Insight Generation :
Build executive dashboards, variance reports, and trend analyses highlighting key performance drivers.Mentorship :
Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and coach analysts to ensure analytic excellence across teams.Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or performance measurement, ideally within healthcare.Strong experience with HEDIS or other healthcare quality measurement frameworks.Advanced proficiency in SQL , Python , and modern data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).Deep understanding of data validation, multi-source integration, and KPI development .Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.Proven leadership experience managing teams or large-scale analytical initiatives.Powered by JazzHR
