DESCRIPTION

Under supervision, perform a variety of operations involved in driving and parking vehicles for guests. The duties includes and are not limited to maintaining excellent customer service standards; issuing ticket receipts after inspecting and documenting any prior vehicle damage; retrieving vehicles in a timely manner; collecting and securing cash and issue receipts; writing down vehicle information and location on valet ticket; tagging and maintaining keys; and performing other duties as assigned. Performs additional duties :

Ensures that appropriate service standards are maintained with all front-line staff. Ensures that visitor issues are resolved to meet the service expectations of UC San Diego Health.Serves as backup to Supervisor during absences.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies / procedures, and / or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience required.
• Skills, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
• Strong customer service skills.

Annual Full Pay Range : $47,147 - $62,243 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent : $22.58 - $29.81
