The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They manage resources, mitigate risks, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. They are the central point of contact and coordination for a project, ensuring it aligns with the site, divisional and corporate goals and objectives.
As the Project Manager, you will be leading teams and working closely with our internal and external customers. In this role you will be exposed to all aspects of the business and continue to grow in more strategic roles within the engineering team.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
- Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, creating project plans, and setting timelines and budgets. Remains flexible to the needs of the business and performs other functions as required
- Identifying and allocating necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are available when needed.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including team members, customers, and senior management, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Leading and motivating the project team, delegating tasks, and ensuring everyone is working effectively towards common goals.
- Tracking project progress against the plan, identifying deviations, and taking corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Ensuring all project deliverables are completed, documenting lessons learned, and formally closing the project.
- Participates in process and product improvements initiatives.
- Process improvements through the use of both new and existing tools; including Lean, Six Sigma, the Kaizen approach, A3 problem solving, and Root-cause problem solving (8D) methodologies.
- Creation, submittal, and management of capital expenditures for the purposes of new equipment acquisitions, equipment overhauls, and new product or process integrations
- Plans, executes and manages project activities with cross functional teams. Project types can include new product development and introduction, manufacturing transfers, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Serve as primary point of contact for communication of project schedule and project cost for both external and internal customers.
Position Requirements :
BS Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or other technical discipline.Minimum Experience :
3+ years' experience in Program / Project Engineer / Lead EngineerTube or Wire Manufacturing experience preferredExperience in regulated manufacturing environment; ISO- 13485 or AS9100 preferredProficiency in Microsoft Outlook and ExcelExperience with ERP systems, preferably OracleFamiliarity with Microsoft Project and PlannerPMP Certification (Preferred)PMI Membership (Preferred)Knowledge & Skills :
Effective written and verbal communication is essential for interacting with stakeholders and team members. Track record of problem solving and solid decision makingAbility to motivate and guide a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts. Working knowledge of cost accounting fundamentals and labor reportingAbility to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Understanding of budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.Adaptability and Flexibility : Ability to adjust to changing project requirements and respond to unexpected challenges.
