Our client is a leading U.S.-based energy transition platform focused on the development, construction, and ownership of utility-scale renewable energy and storage projects. Backed by a top-tier global investment firm, the company is actively developing a multi-gigawatt pipeline of solar and storage projects to accelerate decarbonization across the economy.

Position Overview :

The M&A Manager / Director will be a key member of the corporate development team, responsible for originating, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions and strategic partnerships across the energy transition sector. This role requires a deep understanding of renewable energy markets, financial modeling expertise, and proven transactional experience.

This candidate must have supported M&A transactions for renewable energy projects in the US market.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
• Evaluate strategic investment opportunities in renewable energy, storage, and energy infrastructure platforms.
• Develop complex financial models and investment memos to support decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, technical, and development teams.
• Support capital markets activities, including equity and debt financings.
• Monitor market trends and identify potential acquisition or partnership targets.
• Maintain relationships with developers, advisors, bankers, and counterparties.
