6hr shifts available 7 days a week 9am-3pm

Day shifts overnights and weekends available

Full-time or part-time positions open

We work with your availability to put you in regular and recurring care shifts

Wage

Depending on experience.

$19starting hourly wage for shift longer than 2hours

$25 for shifts under 2 hours

Job Description

Dignity Care is seeking warm-hearted people as Caregivers to provide care to senior / elderly clients. We assist our clients with activities of daily living at the clients home or nursing home and help them maintain quality of life. As a caregiver you will work with seniors doing tasks such as :

Assisting with personal hygiene activities of daily living and medication reminding

Meal preparation

Light housekeeping laundry and organizing

Run errands and transportation

Companionship

Transfers and assisting client with walking

Qualifications

Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

Reliable transportation (required)

CleanCAPSbackground check(required)

We provide paid training for all job duties so dont worry if you have limited caregiving experience.

At least 18 years old (required)

Enjoys working in a one-on-one setting

Is eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

Has good oral and written English

Has excellent phone and communication skills

Has experience working in the home health industry

Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous

People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects

Adaptable / flexible - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
