Facilities Engineer – Long-Term Contract | Rochester, NY | $40–$45 / hr | Day Shift

I’m currently supporting a long-term Facilities Engineer opening with a well-established manufacturing client here in Rochester, NY . This is a daytime, on-site role with steady hours and strong potential long-term hire.

The Facilities Engineer I will help maintain, operate, and improve building systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety functions — working alongside other engineers to ensure the facility runs efficiently and safely. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their engineering career looking to gain hands-on experience with diverse systems and capital improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily facility operations and preventive maintenance programs
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Collaborate on facility upgrades, energy efficiency, and compliance initiatives
• Work closely with internal departments, vendors, and contractors to maintain safe, efficient operations
