Job description

Wastewater Superintendent

The firm is a medium-sized organization specializing in water, wastewater, and civil projects. They are committed to delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining a strong reputation in the industry.

Manage and supervise wastewater treatment plant operations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure equipment is operating at optimal levels.

Train and mentor staff to promote a safe and efficient working environment.

Monitor operational budgets and work to minimize costs while maintaining service quality.

Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Prepare and present reports on operational performance and compliance metrics.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address challenges and implement solutions.

Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed by staff and contractors.

A successful Wastewater Superintendent should have :

  • A strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and regulations, or experience within civil and utility.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with construction practices and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to safety and compliance.

Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.

Average 4x work weeks.

Company vehicle + gas card.

All technology required (including cell phone, laptop, etc.)

ESOP - 100% employee owned.

3 weeks PTO + 8 hours for community event / charity.

Annual Safety Boot allowance up to $150.
