Commercial Construction Project Coordinator

Overview

Commercial Construction Company looking to hire a project coordinator / jr. estimator. Experience in the commercial construction industry and or education in a related field. This is an entry level position, and we are willing to train someone who is dependable, has good work ethic and is coachable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into the management side of construction with a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications
• Update bid sheets
• Compile / evaluate quotes for projects
• Coordinate with GC's and subcontractors
• Compile and review submittals
• Assist project managers and estimating department
• Assist project manager with establishing schedules
• Initiate PO's for equipment and materials
• Manage and coordinate job progress photos
• Assist project manager with various meetings regarding projects
• Administrative tasks as required to ensure projects run smoothly
• Site visits and punch list items

Qualifications

Experience in the commercial construction industry and or education in a related field. This is an entry level position, and we are willing to train someone who is dependable, has good work ethic and is coachable.
