Overview

We are adding a highly skilled VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure Services team. This role is critical to the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware technologies and a passion for automation, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deployment & Configuration
• Deploy and configure VCF 9 components : ESXi, vCenter, NSX-T, vDefend, vSAN, and SDDC Manager.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using PowerCLI, APIs, and Aria Automation.
• Operations & Maintenance
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance; perform upgrades and patching.
• Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking layers.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Manage RBAC, audit logging, and secure integrations.
• Work cross-functionally with datacenter, platform, and application teams.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and Best Practice documents.
• Collaborate with the Architect group to create scalable and resilient VCF 9 environments including workload domains, NSX-T, vSAN, vDefend, VLR, and SDDC Manager.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to align infrastructure with business needs.
