Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in Labor & Delivery.

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist during labor and delivery, and manage complications.

Administer medications, support pain management, and provide patient education.

Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams.

Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.

Respond promptly to emergencies, including obstetric and neonatal emergencies.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Valid Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor & Delivery.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP preferred.
