About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Nov 7, 2025. This opportunity is with a Trauma Center, featuring 24-hour shifts on select dates. Candidates with trauma experience are preferred, and the role involves managing a diverse patient population across trauma, pediatric, and geriatric cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency care in a Trauma Center setting
  • Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, extubation, and ventilation management
  • Conduct history and physical examinations (H&P)
  • Respond to emergency codes
  • Coordinate with staff physicians and nurse practitioners
  • Manage cases involving trauma (20 percent), pediatric (30 percent), and geriatric (25 percent) patients
  • Collaborate with clinic-based specialists and referral centers as needed
