Serves as a role model / preceptor to new graduate nurses and less experienced personnel.\n

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.\n
Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.\n
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, considering aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns.\n
Twelve (12) months of Medical / Surgical experience strongly preferred; critical care experience highly desirable.\n
Visual and aural ability to monitor patient status.\n
Physical ability to assist in lifting and positioning patients.\n\nNice-to-haves\n
