The Litigation Paralegal must have case management experience in Florida personal injury cases, including experience ordering, reviewing, and analyzing medical records, drafting and filing complaints in state and federal court, and preparing and responding to discovery. The position requires strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook), case management programs (Filevine), ability to prioritize, organize, and independently manage work load while taking initiative to anticipate future tasks.

Requirements : Job Duties
Extensive communication with clients, adjusters, opposing counselMaintain client files ensuring cases are moving towards resolutionDraft pleadings, complaints, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, other legal documentsPrepare materials for attorneys attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetingsMust be able to work independently on pleadings, E-discovery, document review, case management, file organization, investigations, research and trial support.In office availability M-F for training, with the ability to work remote afterOvertime offered as neededRequirements

Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree / Associate Degree or related preferred2+ years of experience in civil litigation is strongly preferred and familiarity with managing a Plaintiff’s personal injury caseload is requiredParalegal Certification a plusWorking knowledge of Florida automobile insurance, Rules of Civil Procedure, Statutes, and E-filingExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, OneDrive and Cloud Based Practice Management softwareProficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and discoveryExperience preparing for mediations and trials is preferredCritical thinking, professionalism, strong decision-making skills, and attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work efficiently in a challenging legal environmentBilingual - Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.Benefits
