Job Title : PROGRAMMER - CONSULTANT

Location : Blythewood, SC (Onsite)

Position Type : C2C / W2

Duration of the Contract : 12 months

Project Scope :

This position involves working within a multi-tier enterprise application environment that utilizes MicroFocus Visual COBOL , Microsoft .NET (VB.NET / C#) , and Oracle / MS SQL Server databases.

The selected consultant will be responsible for developing new business functionalities, troubleshooting existing systems, and enhancing performance and reliability within the organization’s core business applications.The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills , experience in production support , and the ability to work independently while collaborating with both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze existing COBOL , Web Service , and Batch business applications.
• Lead in identifying and resolving system issues .
• Propose and implement technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Code, test, and deploy system updates following best practices.
• Provide regular progress reports to the development manager.

Required Skills & Experience :
