Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Personal Injury Paralegal
Overview :
Our client is a respected personal injury law firm with nearly 30 years of service, dedicated to fighting for justice and fair compensation. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented paralegal with at least 2 years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain positive client communication, including monthly treatment updates.
- Request and manage medical records, bills, liens (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Workers Comp.), and PIP ledgers.
- Draft and assemble demand packages and e-file various pleadings (Complaints, Motions, Arbitration Statements).
- Draft and manage discovery documents, including Interrogatories and Requests for Production.
- Organize and analyze discovery documents from all parties.
- Schedule depositions, arbitrations, expert exams, and other case events.
- Prepare settlement documents, distribution statements, and related filings.
- Perform independent case management and track critical deadlines.
- Support trial preparation as needed.
Requirements :
Education : Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience required.Experiences : Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal; plaintiff-side experience is strongly preferred.Other :Strong drafting, e-filing (NJ), and case management skills.Familiarity with medical records, billing, and terminology.Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and legal document management systems (FileVine or similar).Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual Spanish is a plus.Compensation and Benefits :
