Travel RN Job Details Location : Colorado Springs, CO 80907 (Colorado nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse, Float Pool Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : January 31, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3x12-hour shifts / week) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Open Positions : 12 Registered Nurse jobs available Setting : Medical-Surgical / Telemetry, Float Pool (no home unit) Estimated Weekly Pay : $1930 - $2070 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or participating NLC state (required) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required) Minimum 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, or related specialty (preferred) Ability to float to any Centura Health location within 60 miles of Colorado Springs Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and experience in various healthcare settings Travel RN Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and medical record review Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection Promote patient safety, advocacy, and education for patients and families Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that respects individual preferences and values Delegate appropriately to non-RN clinical support staff in accordance with policy and regulations Serve as a professional role model and mentor for new nurses and nursing students Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development Maintain accurate professional records and demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning Float to various units and facilities as needed, adapting to changing assignments and patient care needs Discover your next travel nursing adventure in Colorado Springs!
