American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT, IEMA, and BLS certifications for a day shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Interventional Radiology department performing a variety of vascular and cardiac proceduresProcedures include biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, post placements, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizationsCath Lab responsibilities include diagnostics and interventions, IABP, IVUS, and IMPELLAEquipment used includes Siemens C-arm (single and bi-plane) and GE ultrasoundUses Omnicell and Epic; Epic experience required or preferredDay shift schedule (4x10s) from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMRotating call required, including one weekend every 5th weekendSelf-scheduling availableMay float within the health system if requestedMain responsibilities include assisting with complex IR, cardiac, and vascular interventions using advanced imaging technologyCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and technologistsAll time off requests must be included at the time of applicationModules must be completed during orientation and scheduled shiftRTO cannot be added after submission75 mile travel rule applies; locals accepted at a local rateScrubs or professional attire as dictated by department policyFirst 8 orientation hours are non-billable and included with scheduled shiftsMedical and religious vaccine accommodations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or similar cath / EP / NeuroIR labs requiredGraduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences requiredARRT and IEMA licensure requiredCurrent BLS from the American Heart Association requiredACLS from AHA required within 6 months of hireOmnicell and Epic experience requiredBachelor of Science degree preferredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
