Senior Coding Reimbursement Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist Senior Revenue Cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert in complex coding, including surgical coding and charge reconciliation

Assign CPT and ICD codes, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to department guidelines

Mentor teammates and educate providers on documentation improvement and coding issues

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of five years of coding experience required

CPC or equivalent coding credential required

Extensive knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

In-depth understanding of payer specific rules and regulatory guidelines
