About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Property Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of commercial and industrial properties throughout the East and South Bay. This role is ideal for a proactive, operations-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys being onsite and hands-on with tenants, buildings, and vendors.
The Property Manager will be responsible for day-to-day property operations, tenant relations, financial oversight, and vendor management across 3–4 properties per week . Strong experience with Yardi is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Property Operations & Tenant Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, providing excellent customer service and timely issue resolution.
- Conduct regular onsite visits to ensure property quality, safety, and compliance.
- Oversee maintenance activities, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage move-ins, move-outs, lease compliance, and tenant improvements.
Financial Management
Utilize Yardi for budgeting, rent collection, financial reporting, and lease administration.Prepare annual operating budgets and monthly variance reports.Monitor operating expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs or improve efficiency.Oversee CAM reconciliations and assist ownership with capital project planning.Vendor & Contract Oversight
Select, negotiate, and manage third-party service providers, including maintenance, landscaping, repair contractors, and security.Ensure vendors meet quality standards, contract requirements, and service timelines.Strategic & Operational Support
Collaborate with ownership and asset management teams on long-term portfolio planning, property improvements, and occupancy strategies.Assist with due diligence and onboarding of newly acquired properties.Support portfolio growth by implementing efficient systems and operational improvements.Qualifications
3–7+ years of experience managing commercial and / or industrial properties.Proficiency with Yardi required.Strong understanding of property operations, building systems, lease administration, and tenant relations.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.Valid driver’s license; ability to travel regularly between properties.Compensation & Benefits
