Associate Product Manager | Fulfillment & Logistics - Global Inventory & Sourcing
The Associate Product Manager of Global Inventory & Sourcing will be an integral member of AEO's Flexible Fulfillment team, which is a part of the Associate Facing Technology organization. This individual will play a key role in managing the product roadmaps which guide AEO's approach for evolving inventory management and how inventory availability is communicated to our Digital customers. As an Associate Product Manager, this individual will be expected to be able to align with stakeholders on priorities of features, their outcomes and requirements, and is able to chart their delivery. Additionally, the individual must act as a thought leader and subject matter expert who is able to provide guidance to business and technology partners regarding feature value and prioritization.

Responsibilities :
- Support the product vision and road map management through collaboration with Product Managers on the Flexible Fulfillment team.
- Develop relationships with business stakeholders to align on feature goals and priorities.
- Represent the needs of our business through defining and crafting the features that populate the Global Inventory & Sourcing roadmap.
- Work with the business as new opportunities are raised, and use their feedback to define the problems that need to be solved.
- Serve as the representative of the business as features are pursued by the delivery team.
- Define project requirements and continuously refine them as development progresses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on projects that require our support, solving the needs of other teams in Technology.
- Align on timing and priority with our partners in Product Management when their areas are known to be impacted by our projects.
- Make informed decisions based upon available data, industry insights, business guidance, and technology capabilities.
- Represent the Global Inventory & Sourcing space to the remainder of the Technology organization - being well versed in the business and customer outcomes we expected to achieve and the features that will get us there.
- Champion best practices in agile delivery - observing and enforcing Discovery and Inception phases for projects that warrant them.
- Build and continuously strengthen relationships with partners in the business and technology.
- Define and embrace the metrics that measure success and leverage them to quantify benefits of completed projects and future opportunities.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.1-3 years of experience managing complex technology products; domain expertise in retail would be ideal.Experience with microservices and familiarity with retail OMS, ideally Sterling.Understanding or background in Ecommerce workflows.Impeccable verbal / written communication and persuasion skills; proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.Experience working in matrixed organizational structures with a high level of organizational agility, strategic acumen and interpersonal savvy.Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to drive team results.Be part of something REAL.
