Location : Wichita, Kansas (zip code 67214) – Kansas nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Telemetry Unit (IMU) – 3rd Floor, Building 4, 37 beds

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 01 / 19 / 2026 – End : 04 / 20 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1470–$1570

Employment Type : Travel RN contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Kansas or compact state

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU) experience

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Excellent communication and patient engagement skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Telemetry / IMU unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer medications, manage IV drips, and provide post-heart catheterization care

Care for patients with central lines, chest tubes, and perform bubble studies

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document all care activities accurately using Meditech EMR system
