Job Description

Part Time Mental Health Technician Admissions

About the Position : This temporary position resides in the Admissions Department. Incumbent will work a maximum of 999 hours in a 12-month period. This position provides admission support and services for an inpatient facility and provides direct and indirect non-professional nursing care for adults. The most critical duties include admission of consumers for inpatient services by gathering personal information and logging all personal property to be stored during inpatient services.

Job Type / Salary :

• Part-Time and Limited to 999 hours in a 12-month period
• 14.10 hourly plus $0.50 shift differentials when working evenings / overnights; and $0.75 for weekends.
• Mental Health Technicians also receive an extra $1 per hour shift pay, for any shift worked! That can be stacked on top of the Evening / Weekend pay too!
• Primary Working Hours are Friday 2 : 30pm-11pm; Saturday alternating morning / swing shift, Sunday 2 : 30pm-11pm
• FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Griffin Memorial Hospital is a 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital serving persons aged 18 and over with severe mental illness and provides in-patient hospital care for those in need of mental health & substance abuse services.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
