divh2Crunch Manager / h2pThe Crunch Manager will ensure the members receive the highest quality of service and facilities. He or she will exhibit an ability to achieve the financial targets for the club as outlined in the annual budget by motivating, leading, supervising, and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in servicing our member needs. He / She will demonstrate an aptitude and command of all company wide policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of the Crunch brand. / ppReports to : Owner / ppRequirements : / pulli4 year an ability to make decisions. / liliRecruit and hire the highest possible caliber of staff. / li / ulpSales / Revenue Management : / pulliDemonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and manage team. / liliAchieve desired sales goals. / liliAchieve desired revenue goals thru the leadership and motivation of employees. / liliImplement and support company programs and promotion to help generate new sales leads for optimum new membership growth. / liliEnsure that Team maintains proper tracking forms and the daily leads. / liliEnsure that all promotions are effectively communicated to the team and all other appropriate staff. / liliEnsure ongoing prospecting and generation of new prospective members. / liliReview sales-related written communication such as proposal, letters and promotional pieces for effectiveness, spelling, accuracy and distribution / liliEnsure that he staff has a high level of knowledge about the clubs programs, facilities and equipment. / liliEmphasize importance of staff involvement in the community and neighborhood businesses. / li / ulpPersonal Training / Revenue Management : / pulliDemonstrate ability to lead, motivate and manage personal training department. / liliAchieve desired personal training revenue and session production goals. / liliAchieve desired revenue and production results thru the leadership and motivation of employees. / liliImplement and support company programs and promotion to help generate new pt client acquisition for optimum member base penetration. / liliFacilitate integration of Personal Training products into point of sale presentations to maximize the number of orientation sessions scheduled and packages sold. / liliEnsure Personal Training team follows proper procedures in session redemption. / liliOversee PT manager in ensuring all components of departmental objectives are satisfied. / li / ulpOperations : / pulliCoordinate and work within club support functions of Fitness, Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Information Technology. / liliSupport personnel related problems or difficulties by following club procedure and documentation. / liliResolve member complaints in an expeditious and tactful manner following club procedure and documentation. / liliPromote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to the members. / liliEnsure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security. / liliConduct weekly detailed inspection of the club with the Maintenance Manager utilizing cleaning checklist and forward information to appreciate staff. / liliEnsure visible maintenance items are repaired promptly, proper signage is posted and if possible out of service equipment removed from the floor. / liliReinforce to staff the cleanliness is everyones responsibility, not just the maintenance staff. / liliEnsure proper inventory of maintenance parts. / liliTrack completion of opening / closing checklists, stage management, repair maintenance log, locker log and cleaning checklist. / liliAssist in the processing / submission and approval of payroll. / li / ulpFinancial : / pulliExhibit an understanding of budgets and income statements. / liliEstablish controls of expenses and purchasing of club supplies. / liliDisplay an ability to keep expenses at or below budget. / liliDemonstrate an ability to articulate variances in revenue / sales / expenses versus budget. / li / ulpLeadership / Motivation : / pulliServe as a role model for employees. / liliCommunicate effectively by holding weekly and individual meeting with all key club personnel. / liliProvide an inspirational environment that welcomes honest feedback from employees and takes action to ensure a quality, working environment. / liliOversee, support, direct and develop department heads. / li / ulpProfit Centers : / pulliIllustrate an ability to drive profit center revenue such as personal training, retail, etc / liliMonitor flagged check-ins to increase revenue and collections. / liliDemonstrate an ability to increase revenue per member. / li / ulpMeetings : / pulliMonthly or Weekly Department Meetings / liliEmployee Training Meetings / liliDaily One Minute Meetings with club staff / liliDaily Personal Training Manager Meeting / liliWeekly Club Management Meeting / liliAnnual Performance Evaluations / li / ulpAccountabilities : / pulliImplement and support company programs and promotion to help generate new sales leads for optimum new membership growth. / liliOversees expense goals by managing payroll and general and administrative expenses. / liliEnsure that the clubs meet Crunch standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, security and physical plant operations. / liliKeep current in knowledge
