Engineering Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst for its Rutherford, New Jersey location.

Duties: Design and develop cloud and container based microservices as well as microservices framework for Citi Data Exchange (CDX) portal. Ensure proper code development in accordance with the design, and lead code reviews. Integrate the microservices-backend with enterprise systems for identity and approvals. Design, develop, and modify software systems using application data models, relational database data models, and object-relational mapping to build service platforms that are fit for purpose in their business processes. Provide support for releases of software product, lead the onboarding of clients into the CDX platform, and engage with clients to socialize the platform. Manage all levels of functional and non-functional testing of the software framework and microservices layer, while adhering to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards. Lead milestone planning and implement management updates based on milestone goals for upgrading interfaces and improving performance. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Senior Software Developer, Engineer, Programmer Analyst, IT Analyst, Analyst, Senior Specialist, Specialist, or related position involving software design, development, testing, and implementation. 7 years of experience must include: Developing and deploying Cloud-based software; Service Oriented Architecture; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology; Java service layer development following Microservices Architecture; Object-Oriented design and SOLID principles; Data Structures and Algorithms; Spring framework; Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and Object-Relational mapping; Unit test cases for APIs and code logic; DevOps, CI/CD, release automation, Maven, Git, Jira, Harness, IntelliJ, and Postman for API integration testing; and JSON and XML message formats.
