Director of International ProgrammingPOSITION DESCRIPTION

World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) is seeking a dynamic director of international programming to lead the standardization, execution, and follow-up for our organization's high-impact outbound travel programs. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on travel execution, and post-trip follow up to maximize the business value of trade missions, CEO-led delegations, and international business delegation trips. The ideal candidate excels at creating structure from ambiguity and building valuable business relationships and engagements in international markets. This position reports to the chief of staff and overall is meant to streamline processes and improve the impact of our outbound travel. This position will regularly communicate outbound travel project progress, and travel planning strategy with the chief of staff and CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop comprehensive standardized team planning resources and communicate expectations for standards across the organization
• Work with the team to clarify and improve product offerings (including purpose, costs and planning variances) for business trips, trade missions, trade shows, and CEO-led travel programs
• Support the team by creating scalable standardized templates, quality benchmarks, and project management frameworks for all international cohort travel categories
• Track / capture outside organization international trade travel opportunities and to position WTC Utah as a clearing house for Utah government and businesses trade opportunities (including Utah associations and Commercial Service opportunities)
• Create high-impact programming and meeting curation for international travel as needed
• Oversee entry level staff as appropriate (tracking of metrics in salesforce, research for programming / logistics, monitoring of timelines, creation of templates, etc)
