Acceler8 Talent is partnering with a new startup in the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) space, driving innovation through advanced hardware engineering and AI solutions. They're hiring for a Hardware Test Engineer.
This role involves verifying hardware systems, testing medical devices and subsystems, and driving the development and bring-up of custom test systems. You will contribute to delivering cutting-edge technologies that restore autonomy to people living with disabilities and improve quality of life. Base pay range
$150,000.00 / yr - $210,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Execute testing with external test labs
- Work with engineering team to develop custom tests
- Collaborate with design engineers to characterize custom hardware
- Dry-running tests for transfer to vendors
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of industry experience in testing electro-mechanical hardware devicesExperience with executing verification testing and participating in the test design loopExperience with writing test protocols and documenting results in formal test reportsExperience working within a quality systemMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldFamiliarity with medical device compliance and standardsSuperior written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailOccasional travel to vendorsSeniority level
