Field Superintendent

Location : Syracuse, NY Area (Project-Site Based)

Status : Full-Time, Project-Based (Contingent on Award)

About the Role :

We are looking for a hands-on Field Superintendent to be the on-site commander for a major fencing project. You will be responsible for the day-to-day field operations, ensuring that work is executed efficiently, safely, and according to plan.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct and supervise all field crews and foremen on a daily basis.

Manage site logistics, material staging, and equipment utilization.

Enforce strict compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Read and interpret project plans and specifications to guide the crew.

Coordinate with the Project Manager on schedule updates, resource needs, and field issues.

Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent or similar lead role.

Extensive experience with chain-link fence installation or similar linear construction projects.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a large crew.

In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.

Proficiency with construction equipment (skid-steers, augers, etc.).
