Overview

St. Ignatius Parish is seeking a full-time dynamic and collaborative leader to serve as the Director of Music and Liturgy. ( There is no school associated with the parish).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or 1-2 years experience in a church and / or choir setting. Experience in both traditional and contemporary sacred music
• Strong keyboard skills (piano and organ). If no experience with organ must be willing to learn
• Strong ability in forming and directing cantors, choirs and accompanists
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with parish staff and volunteers
• Familiar with Catholic liturgical principles
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
