This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT in support of the Marion, IL VA Health Care Systems physicians who are seeking a reassignment to an alternative assignment or different location. When you apply, please select the specialty assignment and location you are interested in.

Applicants will be referred as vacancies arise. This announcement is only open to current, permanent employees of the Marion, IL VA Health Care System. Applicants to this announcement should update their application every 90 days to be considered for internal reassignments.

Duties and responsibilities will vary based on the specialty of the position.

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm. May vary based on the position and needs of the facility.

Pay : Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off : 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

Licensure : 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

CME : Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)

Contract : No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
