About The Position

Seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work locum call coverage shifts in New York, NY Starting in February 2026 or as soon as credentialed the role offers on going availability and a competitive market rate and benefits.

Location :   New York, New York

Dates of coverage : February 2026

Duration : 13 week assignment with the option to extend likely through the end of the year.

Schedule : 1900-0830 (7p -8 : 30a)

NICU : Level IV

Call : No

PPD / Census : Days : 8-13 ppd days, Nights : 10-15ppd

Daily Responsibilities : Day : admissions, management of patients, case management through discharge, delivery room coverage. Night : admissions, delivery rooms, case management, and assisting physicians with admissions, orders, procedures

Procedures Required / Preferred : intubations, umbilical lines, pic lines, arterial sticks with lumbar punctures, chest tubes, fluid management, exchange transfusions - rare, venial puncture and IV - rare

Required :

NY license, active and unrestricted

NCC certification and Master’s degree
