Job description75 MILE Straight Line RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility. Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. Include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment. 2 years experience current required in specialty. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Active NM or compact license required. BLS certifications required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. 8 hours (or plus) varied - starts at 8am - May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. One 8 hour on call shift required per 6 weeks. Weekday and rotate weekends and holidays may be required. Approximately 5 to 6 home visits per day. Orientation : 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024) Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED / AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
