We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, TX

Overview of role :

Overseeing the estimation for commercial electrical projects.

Pay : $120-150K

Benefits : This position offers benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance and yearly profit sharing

Schedule : Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm

Key Responsibilities for Electrical Estimator :

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate electrical cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, conduit, wiring, and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates in line with project scope and deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment on project requirements.
• Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with project specifications.
• Develop and maintain cost databases, unit pricing, and historical data for estimating accuracy and efficiency.
