Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Assistant Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90, to $, per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly and year-end financial close processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions
Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules and perform related reconciliations
Assist in preparing quarterly and annual income tax provisions and coordinate state statutory requirements
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
Requirements:
Demonstrate proven experience as an Assistant Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role
Show proficiency in financial statement preparation, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis
Exhibit strong experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Apply thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and relevant regulations
Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
7+ years of experience in accounting, including financial reporting and consolidation
Show familiarity with internal controls and compliance frameworks such as KSOX/SOX (b)
Exhibit exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
