Job Title : Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Specialty : Physical Therapy

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-hour days, Monday to Friday

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Required

Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support)

Must-Have :

  • 2 years of experience
  • Ability to cover required areas for inpatient or outpatient settings

Job Description :

  • Work in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Outpatient work involves locations with a focus on orthopedics and sports medicine.
  • Inpatient responsibilities include general inpatient, rehab, and sub-acute care.
  • Required to cover spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, orthopedics, general medical, surgical, bariatric, ICU, and cardiac patients across different settings.
  • Participate in rotations, including weekend and holiday work with permanent staff, covering one major and one minor holiday typically.
  • Orientation includes 12 hours and floor-specific training for three shifts.
  • Required attire includes a provided polo and either khakis or black pants.
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR system is necessary.
  • Experience with speech therapy, including swallow studies, is preferred.

    • Note : All shifts are subject to cancellation by the hospital, up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
