Optometric Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Optometric Assistant to perform customer service, clerical, and technical services to assist the Optometrist. The Optometric Assistant's customer service responsibilities include greeting customers and answering questions. Clerical responsibilities include scheduling appointments, documenting patient histories and filing insurance claims. Technical responsibilities include taking visual acuity, seating patients at eye-testing machines, performing the test and attaching results to patient charts.

To be a successful Optometric Assistant, you should have strong organizational and communication skills. You should also demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

No prior experience needed. We teach teach all needed information for equipment and insurance.

Saturday Availability is needed with this position.
